Couples therapy

You used to be
a team.

Let's find your way back to each other.

Research-based couples therapy using the Gottman Method, for couples in Bend, OR and telehealth across OR, CA & FL. The first step is a free 20-minute consultation.

No pressure. No commitment. Just an honest conversation.

The distance crept in quietly.

Everything looks fine from the outside. You both work hard to keep it that way. But somewhere between the sleepless nights, the division of labor, and the endless logistics, the ease disappeared. Now you are walking on eggshells or hardly talking at all.

You love each other, but you feel more like roommates managing logistics than partners

Every conversation about the house, the baby, or the calendar turns into a fight

One or both of you is always on the edge of snapping

You are both trying hard, but you keep missing each other

This is not a sign you chose the wrong person. It is a sign the friendship underneath your partnership needs rebuilding.

The Gottman Method works.

Common Questions

Is couples therapy right for us if we are not on the brink of divorce?

Yes. Most couples I see are not in crisis. They are high-functioning partners whose friendship quietly eroded under the weight of careers, a baby, and the sheer logistics of life. Therapy works best before things get dire.

What is the Gottman Method?

The Gottman Method is a research-based approach to couples therapy built on over 40 years of studying what makes relationships work. It focuses on rebuilding friendship, managing conflict constructively, and creating shared meaning together.

Do we both have to attend every session?

Couples therapy is designed for both partners. Consistent attendance is what creates momentum, though we will occasionally tailor the structure to your situation.

How do we get started?

Book a free 20-minute consultation. We will talk about what is bringing you in and make sure it is the right fit for both of you.

Your relationship is worth fighting for.

A free 20-minute consultation is always the first step. An honest conversation about what support could look like for the two of you.
