Therapy That Comes to You
You need support. You just cannot figure out how to get yourself there.
The logistics of new motherhood are real.
You know therapy would help. You have known it for months. But getting there requires a babysitter, or coordinating around feeding schedules, or finding parking, or just summoning the energy to leave the house when leaving the house already costs more than you have. The appointment sits on your calendar and then quietly disappears. This is not a failure of motivation. It is a systems problem, and it has a practical solution.
Therapy that comes to your door.
In-home therapy brings the session directly to you. I travel to your home within a 5-mile radius of Bend, so there is no childcare to arrange, no parking to find, and no leaving the house. The therapeutic work is identical to any other format. The only difference is that the barrier between you and support disappears entirely.
Who in-home therapy is designed for.
In-home therapy is a strong fit if you have a newborn and leaving the house feels genuinely impossible right now, if you have multiple children and childcare is a consistent obstacle, if you are recovering physically from birth and mobility is limited, or if you are a high-demand professional whose schedule requires maximum flexibility. It is also a meaningful option if you have a partner, parent, or child who would benefit from occasionally being part of a session in the natural environment of your home.
What to expect from a home session.
We set up wherever works for you: a quiet room, the back porch, the kitchen table once the baby is down. I bring everything we need, including chairs and blankets so your baby can stay comfortably with you. Sessions run the same length and follow the same therapeutic framework as any other visit. You do not have to be ready. You just have to answer the door.
Privacy, professionalism, and boundaries.
In-home therapy is conducted with the same clinical standards and confidentiality protections as any other therapeutic setting. We will discuss in advance what works for your household, including how to handle other family members being present, how to create a private enough space for honest conversation, and any other considerations that matter to your situation. The goal is a session that feels safe and productive, wherever it takes place.
Imagine a new you.
It is a Tuesday afternoon. Your baby is napping. I am sitting across from you in your living room and you are, for the first time all week, talking about yourself with someone who is fully there for it. You did not have to arrange anything special. You did not have to leave. You just had to say yes.
If logistics have been the reason you have not started therapy yet, let's remove that obstacle. Book a free 20-minute consultation and we will figure out a format that actually fits your life.
